Hi,  I am Thalia Jane - welcome to my website.

I have had fun making this online portfolio and even more happy times working on the productions showcased here. My aim in life is to achieve the experience, expand it and share it and, of course, open up to new possibilities within Costume, Wardrobe and Fashion.

 

Born and brought up in Italy, I am at ease with all aspects of Italian (and British!) culture, including art, theatre and fashion. Being completely bilingual and possessing a dual cultural outlook has advantaged me in understanding the differing perceptions related to a performance: from both backstage and audience viewpoints.

I have progressed from design and production to the role of costume supervisor and I have since worked in the costume department for numerous theatre productions and for over a dozen short films. My inspirations are diverse and constantly evolving: from TV commercials to music videos – all have sharpened my creative vision, eye for detail and competence.

 

For the record:  I am I am adaptable and sociable and I welcome team projects whilst I also feel equally comfortable working individually.
